Arne Slott is ‘unfazed’ by a star for two ‘dangerous’ reasons as he ‘looks for a way out’

A new report has revealed why Liverpool head coach Arne Slott is ‘unimpressed’ with summer signing Federico Chiesa following his move to Anfield.

what was LiverpoolOnly signing in the summer as they paid a cut-price fee of around £12million to sign the Italy international from Serie A giants Juventus.

Church Had the potential to be a great signing. After shining for Italy at the 2020 European Championship, he was on the radar of elite European clubs.

However, the 27-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent years as his stock has dipped.

Chesa has struggled since joining Liverpool. He has made just one Premier League appearance and has logged 123 minutes in four matches in all competitions.

A report last week made the claim. Chesa is ‘already looking for an exit’ after his ‘disappointing’ move to Liverpool and he ‘plans to return to Italy’.

A new report by Enfield Watch shows ‘What Liverpool boss Slat thinks of Chesa’. Three factors are said to be behind his struggles, while two ‘dangerous’ reasons explain why he was ‘not impressed’.

Things are not working out for him on Merseyside and an Anfield watch could reveal the depths of Chiesa’s struggles.

‘It is understood the player is home sick, dislikes the weather and is struggling with the physicality of English football, as Arne Slott pointed out a few months ago.

‘What is more worrying is that it is understood that Chiesa has not impressed with his application and mindset.’

It has also been noted that there are five possible next destinations for Chiesa, but there is said to be one ‘sticking point’.

It is being speculated that Chiesa could return to Serie A before the end of January, either on a six-month loan or a permanent move.

The likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, Napoli, Roma and Atalanta have been credited with an interest in the 2020 European Championship winner, who desperately needs time to build up his match fitness and confidence.

‘He has lost his place in the Italy squad this season and his career appears to be at a crossroads but wage demands are said to be a sticking point for the Serie A side.’

Last month, Chesa made a rare appearance for Liverpool as they beat Southampton in the Carabao Cup. Speaking after the match, Slott admitted he “can do better”.

“I’ve seen ups and downs. I’ve seen some really good moments and I’ve seen some moments where I’m like, ‘OK, you can do better than this.’ To me it’s completely normal for a player to be out for that long and play his first game in five or six months,” Slott said.

“I already said it’s very difficult for me because usually in pre-season a player gets three, four or five games in particular and then he’s only out for four or five weeks.

“Instead, he’s been out for so long, so it wasn’t easy to get him back to his best, but it’s good to see that he showed some quality already today.”
