United striker Marcus Rashford has accused the press of fabricating reports about his future with the Red Devils.
The striker took to his Instagram account to explain the situation despite being ignored by new United boss Ruben Amorim for four games in a row.
Rashford has struggled for form in front of goal this season managing just four goals and one assist in the 15 Premier League games in which he has taken part.
United’s new boss, Amorim, has opted for a strike of Diallo, Zirkzee and Hojlund and it appears that Rashford is not part of his immediate plans.
“Marcus Rashford is progressing in his bid to leave Manchester United and is holding talks with the agency that secured his £86m move. Another United star could sign for Saudi Arabia,” read the caption shared by the England player.
“A lot of fake stories have been written over the last few weeks, but guys, this is getting ridiculous: I have never met with any agency and I have no plans to…”he said bluntly on his Instagram account, putting an end to the rumors that, at the moment, he sees him about to reach the exit door in Old Trafford.
Next up for the Red Devils is a trip to face Arne Slot in Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday 5 January and time will tell if Amorim is drafting Rashford into his matchday squad for the test against the Premier League leaders.
