A darts fan had an absolute nightmare as he spilled jugs of beer while watching Peter Wright take on Stephen Bunting.
Wright and Bunting were in action on the Ally Pally stage as fans gathered to watch the second set of the quarter-final at the north London venue.
Thousands of people participated in it world championshipAll in wild fancy dress with chickens, penguins and traffic cones all witnessing tungsten action.
The strange and wondrous sights within the walls of the famous palace are by no means surprising, but there was one fan in particular that stood out during the evening session.
He was caught on TV with a Paddy Power suit on his head as he attempted to carry five jars.
Perhaps the sensible option would have been to bring a tray to carry him on the way back to the table.
But unfortunately he lost control of several jugs and the beer started dripping on the floor.
The fan tried to put the jugs in his right hand on the table, but the beer came out.
But as he did so, the beer spilled out of the three jugs in his other hand, a disastrous spectacle.
His friends found the funny side of it as they watched their beer pour out of at least two jugs, nearly a quarter of it.
It was an embarrassing mistake caught on camera during the broadcast, and another iconic moment from fans in an incredible venue.
“We’re bringing in 2025 in style,” host Emma Patton laughed during the video.
“These guys sure are. That’s when you think you can carry five pitchers.
“Why isn’t anyone helping him? Someone come and help him. Someone please.”
Fans were quick to react on social media, with one writing, “Should have carried 4 and saved the cost of a pitcher he threw there.”
“Why didn’t any of his friends help him?” agreed another.
One fan added: “About £50 dumped in there.”
One final viewer concluded: “It’s £167 please. What a waste of beer.”
It was Bunting who dominated the stage with a 5-2 victory over Wright, a former two-time world champion.
This isn’t the first time beer and fans have been briefly in the spotlight this week.
Nathan Aspinall Decided to stop mid-launch A fan watched in a beer mug during his comfortable victory over Andrew Gilding.
The fan was ejected from the venue, but ‘The Asp’ stated that he was simply fascinated by what was happening in the crowd.
He told talkSPORT: “I was intrigued.
“Fair play, I only know one man who could do that and that’s Dave Chisnall.
“I watched it and I didn’t start it the way I wanted, but fair play to him, even though he got sent off.
“For a party atmosphere, I love Eli Pali.”
